This is without a doubt the most authentic Ultraman I’ve found in the last 15 years. Completely original and in exceptional condition, the watch came from an estate and had been forgotten in a drawer for many years.
What makes it even more interesting is that this Ultraman checks absolutely all the boxes :
-Caliber 321 with a serial number within the correct range (26.078.xxx). Indeed, Ultramans authenticated by Omega generally have a serial number between 26.077.xxx and 26.079.xxx.
-Orange hand of the correct length.
-Deep black dial with a slightly glossy finish.
-Characteristic caramel-colored tritium indexes.
-“Dot over 90” bezel.
-145.012-67 caseback.
-And the icing on the cake, the steel bracelet ref. 1039/516, whose clasp is dated to the 4th quarter of 1968. Given that most known Ultramans were produced starting in June 1968, this is certainly its original bracelet.
