Rare Omega “Suveran” ref. 2400 fully serviced

The Omega Suveran ref. 2400 has a really interesting story.  These unusually watches were produced during World War II and were sold directly and exclusively by the Swedish government in an effort to help their crippled economy.

Steel case with the inscription “Omega Suveran” on the back.  There is also a hidden number “23” inside the case.

The original dial has developed a very nice patina.  This version with roman numerals is not common.  Original “syringe” hands.

The movement has been fully serviced.

A “must-have” for any Omega collection !
