This rare reference is called “Straight Writing” because of the writing “The First Watch Worn On the Moon” horizontally engraved below the Omega logo.  It is the first Speedmaster model referring to the conquest of the Moon.

The original “dot next to 90” bezel has developed a nice dark grey patina.

The original “step” dial with tritium indexes is in perfect condition.  I have rarely seen such a pristine dial, it looks like new !

Plexiglas with Omega logo.

Steel 1171/1 bracelet with 633 endlinks.

The movement has been checked and tested.

You won’t easily find another Speedmaster with such a history !
