Rare Omega Speedmaster Pre-Moon 145.022-69 beautiful tropical dial

Beautiful Omega Speedmaster 145.022-69.  This reference is interesting in the Speedmaster history because it is the last “pre-moon”.

This example features a very rare dark brown “tropical” dial.  The dial turned brown because of a defect in the composition of the zappon varnish, but only a few dials had this particularity.  Tropical Speedmasters are highly sought after by collectors and going up in value.

The original “step” dial is in exceptional condition, this is one of the nicest I have seen !

Tritium indexes and hands with a very nice patina.

The serial number (29.116.xxx) is in the right range.

“B2” bezel in very good condition.

Steel 1171/633 bracelet.

The movement has been checked and tested.
