Rare Omega Speedmaster pre-moon 105012-64 “asymmetrical T” caliber 321 with extract of archives

Beautiful Omega Speedmaster 105012-64 powered by the famous caliber 321.  This highly sought after reference can be recognized by its “flat” pushers typical of the 105012’s.

This example is fitted with a rare “asymmetrical T” dial.  In 1964, due to a new regulation about tritium, Omega was obliged to add on all dials the letter “T'” around the “Swiss made”.  This is why the “T” are not perfectly aligned.  This highly sought-after particularity can be seen on the reference 105012-63 and some 105012-64 with serial around 20.52x.xxx.

The original “dot over 90” bezel has developed a beautiful blue patina.

The case is in very good condition, the lugs are very thick and the seahorse is still visible on the caseback.

“Step” dial with applied logo.  Nice patina of the indexes and hands.

Plexiglas with Omega logo.

The watch is sold with its extract of archives mentioning it had been produced on February 26, 1965 and delivered to Switzerland.

The movement has been checked and tested.
