Rare Omega Speedmaster “20th Anniversary of Apollo XI” limited edition 1989

Rare Omega Speedmaster “20th Anniversary of Apollo XI” from 1989.  This is the limited edition (2000 pieces) made for the US market (rarer than the unnumbered version).  The left side of the case is engraved “0950/2000 Apollo XI 1969”.

The bezel has developed a nice blueish patina depending on the light.

This example is 100% original, with its “long S and R” dial typical of the late 1980’s and its “B2” bezel with the writing “TACHYMETRE” in big characters without accent.

Tritium indexes and hands with a very nice patina.

The movement has been fully serviced by a professional watchmaker.
