Omega Speedmaster vintage 3590.50 “slightly blue hesalite” circa 1990

Very nice Omega Speedmaster vintage ref. 3590.50 (ST 145022).  It has been produced in 1990 according to its serial number.

This example is interesting because its crystal has a slightly bluish tint, it’s very subtle and more or less visible depending on the light.  This is a rare flaw found on some Speedmasters from this period.  Sometimes, the crystals have developed a more pronounced blue color, click here to see an example.

Original “Long S and R” dial.  The tritium indexes and hands have developed a nice cream patina.

Original “B2” bezel with the writing “TACHYMETRE” in big characters without accent.

The watch is fitted with its original steel bracelet ref. 1479/812.

The movement has been checked and tested.

The last picture shows the difference compared to a “classic” Speedmaster from 1990.
