IAXA rare chronograph vintage “Datejust” Prototype

Rare and interesting chronograph vintage IAXA. This is the only known example, maybe a prototype ?

The watch comes from an old watchmaker’s stock and is almost like new.

The 36mm steel case with brushed lugs and fluted bezel is similar to a Rolex Datejust.

Very nice white dial probably produced by Singer (same typography as vintage speedmasters and daytonas).

The movement has been checked and tested.

If Rolex had mixed a datejust with a daytona, it could have looked like this watch !
