Rare Omega Speedmaster 321 “Ed White” ref. 105.003-65 fully serviced

Nice Omega Speedmaster 105.003-65 powered by the caliber 321.  The famous “Ed White” !  This is the last reference with a “straight lugs” case.  The next reference (105.012) has asymmetrical lugs and the mention “professional” appears on the dial.

The watch comes with two casebacks : the original one and a sapphire back, so you can admire the beautiful 321 caliber.

The original “dot over 90” bezel is in very nice condition.  It has developed a dark grey patina.

Original “step” dial with patinated tritium indexes.

The lugs are thick and the original chamfers are still there.

The serial number (22.827.xxx) is perfectly correct for a 105.003-65.

The movement has been fully serviced by a professional watchmaker.

It is increasingly difficult to find a fully original Ed White at a reasonable price.
