Beautiful Omega Seamaster automatic ref. 2975 with center second. This rare model called “big logo” (because of the large seahorse on the caseback) had been produced in 1958 only. It was the first time the seahorse medallion appeared on the case of a Seamaster.
This model is very interesting because it is one of the first Omega designed by Gerald Genta. Also, this 2975 reference is referred to as “special” in Omega vintage database (click here for the link).
Steel case in very good condition, the lugs are thick and the seahorse on the back is perfect.
Original dial in very nice condition, the indexes and hands still have their original radium lume.
Crown with Omega logo.
This watch is powered by the excellent 501 caliber.
The movement has been checked and tested.
