Beautiful Omega Speedmaster Apollo XI ref. 345.0808 with plexiglass and sapphire back. This is the first series powered by the gilt 863 caliber. The caseback bears the individual number A0320. Later series with display back are less rare because they are not numbered.
This example is 100% original, with its “long S and R” dial typical of the late 1980’s and its “B2” bezel with the writing “TACHYMETRE” in big characters without accent (rarer than later versions with smaller characters).
The tritium indexes and hands have developed an awesome patina !
The case has not been polished.
The watch is fitted with the highly sought-after 1450/808 bracelet. The bracelet alone is worth around 1500€.
The movement has been fully serviced by a professional watchmaker specialized in chronographs.
