Very nice Omega Speedmaster vintage 145.022-69. This rare reference is called “Straight Writing” because of the writing “The First Watch Worn On the Moon” horizontally engraved below the Omega logo. This reference is interesting in the Speedmaster history because it is the first model referring to the conquest of the Moon.
The original “dot next to 90” bezel has developed a very nice grey patina.
Original “step” dial with tritium indexes and hands.
Plexiglass with omega logo.
Later 1171/633 steel bracelet.
The watch comes with its extract of archives mentioning it was produced on August 6, 1971 and delivered to United Kingdom.
The movement has been fully serviced by a professional watchmaker in June 2018.
