Speedmaster 105.012-66CB with a nice story"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As a vintage watch collector, there are two things we must keep in mind\u00a0: the watch itself, and its history.\u00a0 Unfortunately when a watch is 50 years old or more, it is very difficult to know its background.\u00a0\u00a0 The Speedmaster I\u2019m talking about today is an interesting example for that reason.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On July 8, 1967, this Speedmaster reference 105.012-66CB was purchased at Desitter, a well knowned shop located in Li\u00e8ge, Belgium.\u00a0 The watch was worn during a couple of years, and then put in a drawer with its original box and papers.\u00a0 It had been laying there for approximately 40 it.\u00a0 Fortunately the shop still exists today.\u00a0 When he saw the original paper, the owner of the shop confirmed it was the warranty they used to give in the 1960\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p><img justify;\">The owner was really surprised when he realized his watch was collectable and worth some money.\u00a0 This is why he decided to send it to Omega for a full service.\u00a0 Omega did a great job.\u00a0 The original dial with tritium indexes and the \u00ab\u00a0dot over 90\u00a0\u00bb bezel have been preserved.\u00a0 The polish of the case was very light, and the famous \u00ab\u00a0facets\u00a0\u00bb typical of the 105.012-66CB are still clearly visible.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4697\" well as other replaced parts).\u00a0 My watchmaker was able to place them back easily.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Finally, this vintage Speedmaster is as reliable as a recent watch justify;\">The extract of archives indicates that the watch has been produced on June 6, 1967 and delivered to Belgium, which perfectly matches its history. \u00a0So this Speedmaster stayed in Li\u00e8ge from 1967 till 2020&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Here are all the documents that come with the watch. \u00a0This set is so nice, we rarely see something like that
