Rare Omega Speedmaster 321 ref. CK 2998-62 Forstner bracelet fully serviced

Rare Omega Speedmaster CK 2998-62 powered by the famous caliber 321.  This highly sought after reference has several characteristics : case with straight lugs, small pushers, alpha hands and no “professional” mention on the dial.  This is also the first Speedmaster to reach space, when astronaut Walter Schirra wore the watch during the “Sigma 7” mission of the Mercury Programme in 1962.  A real grail for every Omega collector !

Original “step” dial with some patina.  Applied logo.

The original “dot over 90” bezel has developed a nice dark grey patina.

Caseback with double bevel in very good condition, the seahorse is still visible.

Plexiglas with Omega logo.

The watch comes with its rare Forstner Komfit vintage bracelet.  Astronauts were sometimes wearing their Speedmaster on a similar bracelet.

The movement has been fully serviced by a professional watchmaker specialized in chronographs.
